An academician and researcher in Building Science and Performance, with a strong commitment to promoting social and environmental sustainability, particularly in the role of buildings in achieving these goals. My career began as an Assistant Professor at MES School of Architecture, Kuttippuram, in 2002. I later joined the Department of Architecture and Planning at College of Engineering, Trivandrum in 2004, where I currently serve as an Associate Professor. In addition, I held the position of Head of the Department at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Govt. Engineering College, Kottayam, during a three-year tenure, while contributing to various academic roles over the course of my career. Throughout my career, I could play a pivotal role in shaping architectural education and research, serving on various committees including the Board of Studies of Kerala Technical University (APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University), as well as contributing to curriculum development and syllabus formulation for architecture programs across Kerala. As the Coordinator for the M.Arch (Environmental Design) program at KTU, I have been actively involved in integrating environmental sustainability into architectural education.
